The 2019 General Elections for the Lok Sabha was held between 11th April to 19th May 2019 to elect the members of the 17th Lok Sabha (tenure 2019-2024).

The 2019 General Elections for the Lok Sabha was held between 11th April to 19th May 2019. The results were declared on 23 May 2023.

The election was held to elect the members of the 17th Lok Sabha (tenure 2019-2024). The BJP-led NDA retained the control over Union Government with 303 seats while the INC-led UPA secured 91 seats.

The election was conducted in 7 phases between 11th April to 19th May 2023.

For the Lok Sabha seat of Vellore, the election was rescheduled as ₹11 crore cash was seized from DMK leaders allegedly meant to bribe the voters. The elections were then conducted as by polls on 5 August 2019.

Another Lok Sabha seat, of Tripura East, the Election Commission of India postponed the polls from 18 to 23 April due to a law and order situation.
